“Our Face 2 Face conversation on “How I Got My Kid” heard personal stories from LGBT families. Several families shared the distinct processes they pursued in expanding their families. This night represented the first in a new “Growing My Family” series at the Pride Center. The processes of adoption, foster care, surrogacy or alternative insemination/IVF can seem daunting, requiring significant commitments of time, emotional energy, and financial resources. We want to help. Each event in the series will feature a moderated panel of existing LGBT families and community experts in fields such as child service and family law.”
